Summer Movies

Each summer there are movie theaters that do $1 showings on Tuesday/Wednesday mornings.  It's usually movies that are already out on DVD, but it's a cheap way to get out of the heat.  I use to take Little Man back in my nanny days, but we hadn't been yet because I didn't know if Logan could handle it.  He's finally at the point where he can sit and pay attention for that long.

No, we didn't see Ninja Turtles!  But this giant set up was in the lobby, so the kids took a picture with it!

Our friends from Life Group came too.  Miss Jessica bought a giant popcorn and shared with everyone, so my kids were pretty excited about that.

My little buddy!

We saw the Peanuts movie.  I think that was my kids first experience with Charlie Brown or Peanuts.  I thought it was a little boring, but they both seemed to enjoy it.  I was worried about Logan, but he got into it way more than I would have expected.

It might be one of the only dollar movies we see this summer.  Our July is busy with a camp and two VBS weeks.  And then when we can go, they are showing something that I'd rather just skip.  But it was fun to at least get to one!

We also went to see Finding Dory on Father's Day weekend.  This was actually Logan's first movie, and our first movie with ALL of us together!  We brought lots of snacks and got popcorn.  It was a big hit!  I'm sure this is just the first of many family movie trips.
