Disney Day 5-- Hollywood Studios

Day 5 was our day at Hollywood Studios (formerly MGM).  I had also never been to this park, so everything was new for me too!
We started our day out with a character breakfast at Hollywood and Vine.  This was another one for Logan.  It has the Disney Junior characters, and he really likes Jake.  They've both also seen their fair share of Sofia and Doc, so I thought it'd be fun.

We already saw Doc at Animal Kingdom, but we didn't have our autograph book with us (it was in our parked stroller, because we didn't know we'd see her).  So we were able to get a picture and an autograph.

We've never really watched Handy Manny, but I did put it on a few times right before we left just to secretly introduce them to him.

Jake!  Olivia made sure to tell him that Logan dressed up like him for Halloween.

Storm troopers!  Logan really wanted his picture with them, but they were in character and were not stopping for anyone or anything.

Hollywood Studios has a lot of Star Wars things to see.  If you know me, then you know that I pretty much hate all things Star... (Star Wars, Star Trek, Star whatever).  I strongly dislike Sci-Fi and grew up with my mom and brother watching all sorts of Star nonsense.  But Michael likes it, so now my kids are also into it.  So I go along for the ride. :)

BB8

The lines were really short, so we met the Star Wars characters first thing.

Chewbacca was so nice!

And then we met Kylo Ren.  Everyone in line was telling us how terrifying he is.

Their faces!  Ha ha!  I was video recording...

And then he came over and said something to me, and I was like "Oh crap" and went and hid behind Michael.  Ha ha!!

Some people say that Hollywood Studios is a half day park.  There are only 4 rides at the moment.  They have closed a lot down and are currently working on making Toy Story Land and a Star Wars area.  But there are a lot of shows.  We spent the entire day there, and never ran out of things to do.  In fact, there was at least one show we didn't get to because of timing and 1 ride we didn't even attempt because neither of our kids are tall enough.

This is Logan and Michael at the Disney Junior show.  The kids loved the shows!

We were expecting Daisy to be at the Chef Mickey dinner.  Pluto was there instead, so our kids were insistent that we see her.

Thankfully she was standing out near the entrance with a very small line.

Olaf likes to give warm hugs.

Some of the characters don't sign autographs, depending on their costumes (big paws, no hands, etc).  Olaf doesn't sign, I think because he's all white. Ha!  But they said it was because he was only 3.  So they hand out autograph cards, which is nice.

It wasn't just the princesses that thought Logan was cute.  Buzz paid him a lot of attention.  It was funny because Buzz was tickling him and playing with him and Woody was just standing there posing.  Then he realized what was happening, so he started to try to interact with Olivia.  It was slightly awkward, but funny.

Buzz can't sign, but he has a stamp that he uses for his autographs.

We had dinner reservations for the Sci-Fi dinner.  I thought the kids would think it was fun to eat dinner in a car.  It's set up like an old drive in theater.

The food is American burgers, fries and shakes type.

It was fun!

We stayed and went to the Fantasmic show, which is a lights/laser/water show that we had heard good things about. We were tired, but we all enjoyed it.  It was another good day!!
