Lights

It's no secret that I love traditions.  Creating traditions for my very own little family has been fun.  I've seriously been keeping a list of ideas since before I was even pregnant.  Yep, I'm crazy. :)  Some we've already started, and the rest we will probably start next year.  Olivia doesn't quite understand it all yet, so there isn't much of a reason to stress out about it.

One thing she does understand is the fact that Christmas lights are pretty!  Frisco's town square does a really neat display set to music.  You can drive through in your car, turn your radio to a certain station, and see the lights dance to the music.  OR, you can do as we did and walk the streets.  Driving around to see the lights is definitely on the Christmas traditions list.  But since Olivia is too young to explain "look out your window", this was a great way to have a little Christmas fun.

We went last Saturday.  The weather was great for it.

She really was enjoying it... just not in the mood for pictures, I guess.

There is lots to do besides the lights too.  There are fun shops and restaurants.  There were bounce houses for the kids, and tubing down 3 lanes of (fake) snow.  There were also horse and carriage rides.

There were speakers in the bushes and Olivia stopped to dance.  She drew a lot of attention.
They also had fake snow blowing from the roof. She thought that was fun too.

It was crowded and getting close to bedtime, so we didn't stay too long.  Just long enough to make some memories.  She enjoyed the fountain just as much as the rest of it. She wanted to climb in!
