List o' fun-- Movies

Summer is here!  OK, well not "officially".  That comes in a week or so.  But for me, since preschool is out and the weather is nice, it's my summer.  There are SO MANY fun (and even free!) things to do in the summer.  I want to make sure you know about all of the great things out there, so you might be seeing a few more "List o' fun" posts.  Hope you don't mind! :)

Movie theaters offer great summer programs where they either have free kids movies or $1 movies (where proceeds go to charities).  I'm going to share about my local theaters, but make sure you check out the links because these aren't just local.

RAVE MOTION PICTURES

The Rave at Polaris is offering free movies on Tuesday or Wednesday mornings at 10 AM.  Check out which movies are playing on which days.  It's first come first serve, so make sure you show up early!

AMC THEATERS

AMC at Easton offers $1 movies on Tuesdays at 10.  (NOTE:  Last year it was on Wednesdays, so don't be confused!!)  Obviously Easton theaters are a little bigger, so you don't have to worry as much about missing a spot.  However, lots of summer programs take field trips, so you may want to show up a little early.  You can check out the movies here. 

CINEMARK

Cinemark movies are either $1 each movie or you can get a 10 movie pass for $5.  We generally go to Carriage Place (off Sawmill), but Gahanna also offers the same deal.  Movies are Tuesdays for Gahanna and Wednesdays at Carriage Place.  I like that they offer not only newer movies (like Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs), but also Veggie Tales movies and oldies like Charlotte's Web.  This link shows all the cities that offer it and which theaters participate.  From there, it will show you a flier of what movies are showing and on what days.
