Disney Day 6--Magic Kingdom

See what I mean about that sun!

On our 6th day we headed back to Magic Kingdom.  From the very first ride on day 1, Olivia was hooked on the fast rides.  Each new ride we would get in line for, she'd ask if it was a fast ride or a slow ride.  I made all of our fast passes for rides that we could all ride, but by the last day I was making sure that she got to ride on every ride she could.  Michael went with her on all of the crazy, jerky fast rides, and I rode the more mellow rides with this cutie.

Michael took Logan in to look around Gaston's Tavern while Olivia and I waited to meet Gaston.

Tiana asked Olivia what things she liked to cook.

We had already met Rapunzel at breakfast, but the way they have it set up, you meet Tiana and Rapunzel together.  So we just went ahead and met her again.  The wait was like 5 minutes, so it was no big deal.

Michael and Olivia rode Thunder Mountain twice back to back (using the rider switch), because Michael didn't think I'd like it.  He's probably right.

Looking too old on the Jungle Cruise (which turned into the "Jingle" Cruise because it was Christmas time).

Ha ha!  Olivia was pouting because we wouldn't let her and Logan ride together... despite the fact that the rule was a child had to have someone 13 or older in the seat with them.

I really wanted to eat at Be Our Guest for dinner, because it's the only place you can meet the Beast.  Plus, I heard it was just fun to see inside the "castle".

The ballroom.... It's a little different than some of the other character meals, and you order and pay the price as the item (verses all adult meals are $60)

I literally snagged our reservation the night before using touringplans.com.   We did something a little controversial and ordered desserts only instead of a very expensive meal.  It is allowed per Disney, but it's controversial because some of the waiters don't like it.  Their tip is very different if you have a $50 bill instead of a $200.  However, the table turns over faster, so it could be a win.

I decided ahead of time that if our waiter was nice about it, I would give a generous tip.  We ordered one of every dessert on the menu and we all got a drink.  I had read lots of stories online, but our waiter was nothing but kind and helpful!  The kids thought it was amazing that we were having dessert for dinner!

We finished quickly, and then toured the castle.

After we toured the castle, we met the Beast.  He was SO good.  It was totally worth it!  Olivia told him she played him at Enchanted Tales with Belle and he motioned for her to let him hear her roar.  She also told him that Belle kissed Logan and he had a big reaction to it.  He spent a good amount of time with them and it was just perfect!

Disney has Christmas parties during certain nights in November and December.  The parks close at 6 PM on those nights and then the party starts at 7.  You have to have a separate ticket for that night.  We actually did have a ticket to the party for the next night, but for this night we had to leave after dinner.

We ended our early night by hitting the pool back at the condo.  It was a little too cold for me, but the kids liked it.  I spent my time in the hot tub.  We could even see some fireworks from the pool.  I'm not sure what park it was that we saw, but it was still fun.
