Our activity on Sunday was to go and see Santa. Our other weekends this month are pretty full, so it was really the only time we had to go.
We went after Logan's second nap. We didn't even have to wait 10 minutes!
They have an area where you take a family picture before you get to Santa. Clearly we weren't prepared for this, but it was cute regardless.
We were anticipating Logan screaming his head off, so we let Olivia go first so that she could tell Santa what she wanted. She was so excited to see him. When we rounded the corner she yelled, "SANTA!". She got a little star struck though, so when he asked her what she wanted she just said "bunk beds". He asked if there was anything else and she just stared at him. :) She wants bunk beds for her dolls/Barbies. I think he might have thought she wanted real bunk beds and was looking for a more practical response.
Surprisingly, Logan didn't cry! It was a true Christmas miracle!
Olivia was a good big sister! Logan did start to cry at the very last second, but I'd say the whole thing was a success.
We also got our family ornament while we were there, and had a nice dinner out--which is rare. It was a great little Christmas outing.
