List o' fun-- Chuck E Cheese

Alright, I realize some people are going to have strong opinions about Chuck E Cheese.  It's a germ fest... the pizza is nasty... it's a wild house...  I agree the pizza isn't the best I've ever had (but I wouldn't say the worst either), and it IS a place for a kid to be a kid so it does get loud--but you can't deny that it is lots of fun for the kiddos.  We don't go often, but it's a nice treat every once in a while.  Actually, we've only gone twice.  Last year for Little Man's birthday and this year for Little Man's birthday.

 

 

Some of the things I like about Chuck E Cheese are:

•  The kids check in--when you walk in, your hand is stamped with a matching number to your child's.  When you leave, you have to show the attendant your hands to make sure your numbers match.  I think this is a great measure of safety.
•  Coupons!!  There are coupons in the paper all the time.  But don't worry.  If you forget to cut them out, you can go to the Chuck E Cheese website and print some off.  How nice is that?
•  Also on the website are reward charts to use.  You simply print them off, fill them out, and take them in for 10 free tokens.  There are rewards for things like potty training, having good manners, not sucking your thumb, reading every day, sleeping through the night and so much more.  Who can't use 10 free tokens?
•   They also have a homework program for older kids and rewards for good report  cards.
• It's much cleaner, nicer and safer than when we were kids.
• If you don't like the pizza, you have other options.  They have a salad bar, sandwiches, hot dogs, side items, and more.
